Question by Joe G: how to do a file transfer between computers with a crossover cable? ok, i found out that i need a crossover cable to connect from computer to computer. i have identified one of my cables as a crossover cable. my problem is i don't know how to get my computers to recognize that they are connected. my desktop is running windows xp and my laptop is running vista. please some help?
